1.- What is the fruit of salvation?
To leave behind the old man.
“that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, 23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.” Ephesians 4: 22-24
2.- Do we have any responsibility when we received salvation?
Yes, to be holy.
“but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct,16 because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.” 1 Peter 1: 15-16
3.- Do the Torah speaks about the grace of salvation?
Yes, the people of Israel where delivered from Egypt by the grace of God.
“Therefore say to the children of Israel: ‘I am the Lord; I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, I will rescue you from their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments. I will take you as My people, and I will be your God. Then you shall know that I am the Lord your God who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.” Exodus 6: 6-7
4.- What are the works of salvation?
The fruits worthy of repentance.
“Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, 9 and do not think to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones. And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore, every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.” Mateo 3: 8-10
5.- Is our salvation due to Works?
No, is our faith in Yeshua – Jesus what produces works of justice.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Ephesians 2: 8-9
